Knowing when to come to therapy can be a difficult decision particularly allowing oneself to be open and vulnerable about how we are feeling. Most often clients continue to suffer in silence due various reasons and the fear of being judged or looking weak. This can be challenging as we often feel the need to cope regardless of how bad things are.
Therapy is a personal and unique journey, people often come to see me for support for their general mental health issues, which include: anxiety, panic attacks, low mood, feelings of hopelessness, low self-esteem & confidence, etc.
Therapy is a place to help you think about your thinkingb therefore providing you a space to reflect on why you do and think in a certain way.
Therapy is also a place to reflect and share your experinces, stories and journey in a safe enviroment. I work integratively using psychodynamic, CBT, neuropsychology and other psychological theories to help my clients understand their thoughts and behaviours. I help my clients understanding their childhood script they had developed and how in difficult and stress times this script comes and affects their wellbeing. I provide useful stratergies and techniques to start developing a more healthier way of looking at themselves.
